If you receive a security notification from us and there are no signs that the charger has been opened or tampered with, the notification has likely been triggered because the sensor inside the charger has been disturbed.
This can happen during normal use, for example when:
- Wrapping the tethered cable around the charger
- Accidentally knocking or bumping the charger
- Applying firm pressure to the front of the charger, such as when pressing the Boost button or plugging a cable into a socketed unit
