Step-by-step instructions for safely restarting your Indra charger.
To restart your charger
Restarting your charger is sometimes referred to as rebooting or power cycling it. All three terms mean the same thing.
- Ensure your vehicle is NOT connected to the charger🚗
- Turn OFF the RCD/RCBO (circuit breaker) for the unit. This is usually clearly labelled in your consumer unit/fuse box.
If you’re unsure which switch controls your charger, find out how to identify your charger’s switchgear.
- Leave the unit powered OFF for 30 seconds ⏱️
- Turn the RCD/RCBO back ON
- Wait while the charger completes its boot-up sequence. It will display a solid purple light during this process and should then change to a solid white light.
If the charger continues to show a solid purple light for more than 90 seconds, follow our solid purple light troubleshooting guidance.
