Check the following:

Is a charge limit set in your vehicle? π
- Many vehicles have a battery charge limit configured (for example, 80%).

Check your vehicle settings and ensure the limit is set to your desired charge level.

Was there enough time available to reach 100%?β±οΈ

Larger batteries require longer charging sessions.
For example, a 70kWh battery may require approximately 9-10 hours to charge from 0% to 100% on a 7kW charger. If your off-peak tariff window is only 5-6 hours, the vehicle may not reach a full charge before charging stops.

Did charging start later than expected? β±οΈ
- Check whether a charging schedule or smart tariff delayed the start of charging, reducing the available charging time.
Vehicle did not charge at all π«
Check the following:

Did the charger detect the vehicle?π
- Confirm the cable was fully inserted at both ends and the charger status lights were flashing - What the lights on the charger mean

Check whether the Indra app shows the vehicle as connected.

Is a charging schedule configured in the Indra App?π±

If no charging schedule is set and you are not linked to a Smart Charging Tariff, the charger will not provide power unless Boost is activated.

Are there charging schedules set in the vehicle?

Vehicle schedules can conflict with charger schedules.
We recommend disabling all vehicle charging schedules and managing charging through the Indra App. The schedules in the vehicle take priority over the charger, the vehicle is in control.

Are there any error lights displayed on the charger?

Check the LED status and refer to the following link if an error light is present.

Are you using a Smart Tariff integration?
- Smart Tariff charging requires the charger to be online.

If the charger is offline (showing a flashing purple light), your energy provider will not be able to start or manage charging.

Was the charging schedule created after the vehicle was plugged in?
- Charging schedules must be set before connecting the vehicle.

If a schedule was created after plugging in, unplug and reconnect the vehicle after saving the schedule.

Can the vehicle charge from the Boost function?
- If Boost charging works but scheduled charging does not, the issue is likely related to scheduling or tariff configuration rather than the charging hardware.
Charging at a slower rate than expected

What is the vehicle's maximum AC charging rate?

Not all vehicles are capable of charging at 7kW. Some vehicles are limited to approximately 3.6kW, which is normal operation.

Is the charging cable correctly rated?
- Some charging cables are limited to 16A or 20A.

A lower-rated cable will restrict charging speed even when the charger can provide 32A. You can usually find the rating of the cable on the side of the cable.

Is the vehicle charge rate limited in its settings?
- Some vehicles allow the maximum charging current to be reduced.

Check that the vehicle is configured for the maximum available charging rate (typically 32A where supported).

Load Curtailment is Active

If load curtailment is active, the charger may temporarily reduce charging power to protect the property's electrical supply. This is due to the usage in the property nearing the fuse rating.
The charger will only reduce its charging rate when the household electricity demand is high. You can confirm this by switching off a high-power appliance and checking whether the charging rate increases.
