How to identify whether your Indra charger connects through Wi-Fi, Ethernet or a cellular network.
Your Indra charger can connect to the internet in one of three ways:
- Wi-Fi 🛜
- Hardwired Ethernet🔌
- Cellular (4G)📶
When your charger was installed, the installer may have told you which connectivity method was used. If not, you can find out by doing the following:
4-beep test
Purpose
The 4-Beep Test is used to determine the device's pairing mode status.
How to perform the 4-beep test
- Press and hold the Boost button.
- Continue holding until 4 beeps are heard.
- Release the button.
- Observe the logo light immediately after release.
Results
Result: Logo light flashes orange after release
Meaning
- Wi-Fi pairing mode is available.
- WPS pairing is available.
Recommended action
- Proceed with Wi-Fi or WPS setup.
Result: Logo light flashes orange and blue after release
Meaning
- Wi-Fi pairing mode is available.
- Bluetooth pairing is available.
- The user can connect using the mobile app.
Recommended action
- Open the user app and complete the Wi-Fi connection process.
Result: Logo light returns to its previous state after release
Meaning
- The test was unsuccessful or pairing mode is not available.
