Step-by-step instructions for safely restarting your Indra charger.
To restart your charger 🔄
Restarting your charger is sometimes referred to as rebooting or power cycling it. All three terms mean the same thing.
- Ensure your vehicle is NOT connected to the charger 🚗
- Turn OFF the RCD/RCBO (circuit breaker) for the unit. This is usually clearly labelled in your consumer unit/fuse box. If you’re unsure which switch controls your charger, find out how to identify your charger’s switchgear.
- Leave the unit powered OFF for 30 seconds ⏱️
- Turn the RCD/RCBO back ON
- Wait while the charger completes its boot-up sequence. It will display a solid purple light during this process and should then change to a solid white light.
If the charger continues to show a solid purple light for more than 90 seconds, follow our solid purple light troubleshooting guidance.
