What is Lock? 🔒
The Lock function allows you to temporarily disable your charger to prevent unauthorised use.
When the charger is locked:
- Charging is disabled and the charger will not supply power to a connected vehicle.
- The Boost button cannot be used to start a charge.
- The charger's indicator lights are switched off, except for a faint light around the Boost button. This is designed to discourage unauthorised use by making the charger appear to have no power.
To resume charging, unlock the charger in the Indra app before connecting your vehicle.
Important Information ⚠️
- The Lock function does not physically lock the charging cable to either the charger or the vehicle.
-
The charger must be unlocked before the vehicle is plugged in.
If a vehicle is plugged in while the charger is locked, unlocking the charger afterwards will not allow a scheduled charging session to start. If you have unlocked whilst plugged in, simply unplug for a few moments then reconnect the vehicle.
How to lock and unlock the charger
